Coffee House Concerts - 2019
John Gorka is perhaps the leading iconic singer-songwriter of the Americana and New Folk scene in America. The shy, wry, insightful, and yes, sensitive singer-songwriter has been copied and parodied. The old songs ring as true as they ever did, and the new ones are just as good.
Many well known artists have recorded and/or performed John Gorka songs, including Mary Chapin Carpenter, Nanci Griffith, Lucy Kaplansky, Eliza Gilkyson, Nina Gerber, and many more. John has graced the stage of Austin City Limits, Mountain Stage, etown and has appeared on CNN. After 16 highly acclaimed albums, John is still on top of his genius. A very special guest will be performing alongside John on some of his newest music. Lake County's own gifted cellist Clovice Lewis will be accompanying John. Clovice is a feature cellist with the Lake County Symphony, the Ukiah Symphony, and all over the country performing many styles and genres. The Coffee House Concert Series in Kelseyville is truly blessed to host such an amazing artist. |
He's BACK! Lake County favorite and nationally renouwn Jack Williams graces the Coffee House stage again this year to the delight of all!
These testimonials tell it all ".... his artistry... is nothing short of amazing. Dazzling picking, expressive voice, unique and interesting songs. He is a showman in the best sense of the word and just wowed our audience. I think they would have followed him anywhere." Rich Warren, WFMT "Midnight Special", Chicago IL If there is anyone not familiar with Jack's incredible songwriting and prodigious performance skills, my sympathies to you. A Jack Williams show is a slam-dunk win-win-win for all. One of the most enlightened and entertaining performers I've ever encountered. Dave Humpreys, Two Way Street Coffeehouse in Downers Grove IL |
He's BACK! Rize Up is ninety minutes of Roy Zimmerman’s original songs, a funny and forceful affirmation of Peace and Social Justice. “Sometimes I think satire is the most hopeful and heartfelt form of expression,” says Roy, “because in calling out the world's absurdities and laughing in their face, I'm affirming the real possibility for change.”

Back by popular demand, the Farallons are a three-piece acoustic group playing a style of music described as Folk 'n Roll with hints of other influences including Irish, Jazz, Classical, Country, and even Latin.
Tom Richardson, Terry Mills, and Linda Weber blend a very tight three-part harmony with steel and nylon stringed acoustic guitars, bass, mandolin, flute, and hand percussion. Sets include finely crafted original songs by award-winning songwriter Tom as well as cover tunes from the likes of Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Tom Waits, Richard Thompson, and Karla Bonoff. The Farallons are seasoned professionals with a well established Sonoma County following. They show up on time, look good, don't eat much, and work well with the staff. Songwriter's songwriter, Casey Neill has no end of devoted fans within the Pacific Northwest music community. Atop them all lay Neill's big-hearted, full-voiced yarns. He brings a certain empathetic grandeur to high-minded tales of resolutely low lives with all the crack musicianship and casual authenticity a few decades treading the boards should allow.
He has many albums and plays with several musicians that compliment his unique Americana style. Help us give our northern neighbor from Portland a warm welcome to Northern California!
